my first test engagement session… was a roaring success!  taken over Labor Day Weekend 2011, my good friends Lindsey & Michael were willing subjects, happy to let me fumble around while learning the ins + outs of my new Contax 645.

more recently, i had the fortune to be invited to second-shoot Michael & Lindsey’s actual engagement session in DTLA with their primary photographer Holly Steen (Cakes & Kisses Wedding Photography).  i’ll be sharing some of my favorite images from that session in a future post - so be sure to stay tuned!

1) Our friend Elan is a fantastic photographer and I can’t recommend her enough. I still can’t get over how great her photos are. Must be because she shoots with film!

2) Expect a couple more picture blasts soon.

3) A little under 5 months until the wedding. Days are just flying.
